Below you will find important service information ahead of our away fixture against Liverpool, Sunday 10 November, 4.30pm kick-off.

We ask you to arrive early to ensure that there are no delays in entering the stadium.


Anfield is accessible from all major routes and the postcode for the stadium is L4 0TH.

Lime Street Railway Station is two miles from Anfield. Supporters can take a taxi from Lime Street (fares usually cost between £7- £9) or buses go from nearby Queen Square Bus Station. On matchdays you can use the Merseyrail network to link with the Soccerbus service from Sandhills Station.

Supporters collecting tickets pre-arranged through the Club, can do so from the Ticket Office situated at the Kop end of the Stadium, open from 12pm. Supporters are advised to collect their tickets at least 60-minutes before kick-off to pass through security checks and enter the stadium in time.


Hearing loops are fitted at the ticket office, the retail store and at selected low counter catering kiosks across the ground. Visually impaired supporters are able to order a headset in advance of the game from the disability supporters’ team. Should you require a headset on the day, please see your nearest steward. Accessible toilets are located within each stand.


The Away Supporters' Area is located in the Anfield Road Stand. Turnstiles will open approximately 90-minutes prior to kick-off. Supporters are located in Blocks 121-124. Please find the correct turnstile printed on your match day ticket. It is important that aisles are kept clear and supporter do not stand in the hatched areas.


Manchester City Football Club is proud to have the best fans in the world and with your help we plan to keep it that way. As guardians of this great Club, we all have a responsibility to act as ambassadors of not only Manchester City, but also the City of Manchester. On your visit to the Stadium, please respect the stewards and staff at the Club and we ask that you:

  • The use of pyrotechnics, flares and smoke bombs is strictly prohibited
  • Remain in the seat that you have purchased
  • Keep your ticket with you at all times
  • Do not block the aisles or gangways
  • Do not smoke


Supporters are advised to bring a payment card with them to the game as there are only a limited number of kiosks which accept cash in the visiting section.

There are an array of meal deals available at kiosks throughout the ground. Stretford kiosks are available on a matchday and are located in the Fan Zones in Paisley Square, Skerries Road and Venmore Street. Skerries and Venmore kiosks only take cashless payments.

There are no cash points available in the ground however, there is a cash point located on Walton Breck Road. Supporters can pay via card throughout the stadium with contactless payment also in place at all kiosks.

A faith room is accessible from the Main Stand public realm and located next to the hospitality ticket collection booth. The faith room will be available from 5 hours before a match and for 30 mins after a match.

Before every home match this season, Liverpool Football Club advises all away fans a local food bank will be in operation with donations welcome. The Anfield Road collection point is open three hours before kick-off and remains open for 15 minutes after kick-off. Food can be dropped off at the Anfield superstore during its opening hours and at Homebaked before kick-off.

Official Match Ticket

Entry to the Stadium will be granted on the presentation of a valid ticket purchased from the Club.

The Club excludes all liability to any supporter who is denied entry to the Stadium as a result of their ticket having been purchased through an unauthorised seller. The unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets may also amount to a criminal offence and the Club will inform the police as soon as it becomes aware of any unauthorised sale or disposal of tickets.
