Burton v City: Supporter information

Important service information ahead of our Carabao Cup semi-final second leg away at Burton Albion on Wednesday 23rd January, kick-off 7.45pm.

We ask you to arrive early to ensure that there are no delays in entering the stadium.

Supporters attending this match are advised not to take any bags unless essential. Bags will be searched, in accordance with visiting supporter stand security procedures, which may cause a delay in entering the stadium.

Travelling to the stadium

For directions to The Pirelli Stadium, including address and contact details, please see the visiting supporters guide here.

The postcode for the Pirelli Stadium is DE13 0BH. Car parking is available at the Stadium for 400 vehicles for £5. Supporters can also park in the Ryknild Industrial Estate for £5. Access to the site is from the Derby Road Island by taking the first exit and this is signposted on match days.

The nearest train station is Burton Railway Station and is situated half a mile west of the Town Centre - past the breweries on Station Street - on Borough Road. The station is a 30-minute walk to the Pirelli Stadium.

Supporters are advised to always allow extra time to travel on a match day and plan ahead.

Ticket collections

Supporters collecting tickets can do so from the Ticket Office which is located in the Main Stand Building.

Supporters are advised to collect their tickets at least 60-minutes before kick-off to pass through security checks and enter the stadium in time.

Accessibility

The club has a number of wheelchair bays available for away supporters. The away disabled wheelchair bays are situated in front of the East Terrace Stand.

The Club's access statement can be found here.

Entering the ground

Burton adopt a strict search policy at the stadium and therefore long queues may form at the turnstiles and cause a build-up of fans getting onto the terraces. Once inside the ground you will be directed by stewards to the terraces and guided to the least-congested areas. Do not take any items that would slow down any search regime, including rucksacks and large bags.

The nearest cash machine is located at the Co-op Food Store almost opposite to the car park entrance.

The match day programme, ‘The Matchday Brewer’ is available to purchase from designated programme sellers inside the Pirelli Stadium and the Club Shop at £3.

The Burton Albion visiting supporter guide can be found here

The Pirelli Stadium has a strict no smoking policy; the use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited.
