Important service information ahead of our away fixture against Cardiff, Saturday 22 September, kick-off 3pm BST.

We ask you to arrive at least 1-hour prior to kick-off to allow for security checks and ensure there are no delays in entering the stadium.

Travelling to the stadium 

For directions to Cardiff City Stadium, click here. Supporters travelling via public transport are asked to be mindful of other passengers travelling and respect the staff on board.

Supporters should take a direct train to Grangetown Station from Cardiff Central Station (approximately 5 minutes). Away supporters are advised not to transfer via Canton Station.

Toll charges on the Severn Bridge is £5.60 for a car, £11.20 for a small bus (not exceeding 17 seats) and £16.70 for a coach


There is an away parking area locating in the away end compound of the Stadium, accessible until 30 minutes prior to kick-off. The car park can be accessed via Sloper Road. Parking costs £10 per car.Further parking is available at Bessemer Road’s Wholesale Market car park (CF11 8BA).

Official match ticket 

Supporters are located in Blocks 119-123. Turnstiles open 90 minutes prior to kick-off. Please find the correct turnstile printed on your match day ticket. It is important that aisles are kept clear and supporter do not stand in the hatched areas. The Club accepts no liability for tickets purchased through unofficial channels. 

Ticket collections

Collect from Away Ticket Office at Gate 12.

Supporters collecting tickets can do so with Photo ID from the Away Ticket Office at Gate 12. Supporters are advised to collect their tickets at least 60-minutes before kick-off to pass through security checks and enter the stadium in time.


Away fans are advised to drink in the city centre where pubs are neutral venues.

Bags and luggage 

Supporters attending this match are advised not to take any bags unless essential. Small bags or backpacks (which must fit under your seat) will be searched and tagged, in accordance with visiting supporter stand security procedures, which may cause a delay in entering the stadium.  Suitcases, cabin bags or large luggage bags are NOT permitted inside the stadium.  There are no ‘left luggage’ facilities available.

No smoking 

The Cardiff City Stadium has a strict no smoking policy; the use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited.

Code of conduct: Respect the badge 

If you ever witness crime, vandalism, violence, drugs, the use of smoke bombs and pyrotechnics or abusive behaviour from visiting or home supporters, inside or outside a Stadium, contact a steward as soon as you can and report your concerns.
