Leicester v City: Away fan information

Important information for fans attending our away game at Leicester City on Tuesday 19 December, 7.45pm kick-off.

We ask you to arrive early to ensure that there are no delays in entering the stadium. 

Supporters attending this match are advised not to take any bags unless essential. Bags will be searched, in accordance with visiting supporter stand security procedures, which may cause a delay in entering the stadium. 

Travelling to the Stadium

The postcode for The King Power Stadium is LE2 7FL. Parking is available on the Club’s Filbert Street car park at £17 per car. These spaces need to be pre-booked before the day of the match, by calling the City Sales Centre on 0344 815 5000 (Option 1).

There are a number of car parking options in the area including Freemans Common Business Park (LE2 7SQ). These independent car park spaces are run in aid of a Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, at a cost of £5 per car(price may vary on the day) with all proceeds going to the charity. Leicester Train Station is roughly 1.4 miles away from the stadium, approximately a 5-minute car journey. There are three park & ride facilities open on matchday, further information can be found here.

Supporters are advised to always allow extra time to travel on a match day and plan ahead.

Virgin Trains - Discount

If you’re planning on travelling to the game using a Virgin Trains service, make sure to use your 20% Cityzens discount.

Visiting supporter pub

The designated pub for visiting supporters in The Counting House (LE2 7LH) on Freemans Park, roughly a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

Ticket collections

Supporters collecting tickets can do so from the Matchday Ticket Office Unit which is located to the left of the City Fanstore.

Supporters are advised to collect their tickets at least 60-minutes before kick-off to pass through security checks and enter the stadium in time.


The access turnstile is 42-43, next to gate E17.

Leicester offer an Audio Descriptive Service available for supporters with visual impairments. The headsets can be collected from the matchday staff entrance an hour and a half before kick-off.

Official match ticket

The Away Supporters’ Area is located in the North and East Stands. Turnstiles will open approximately 90 minutes prior to kick-off.

Supporters are located in Blocks M1-M4. Please find the correct turnstile printed on your match day ticket. It is important that aisles are kept clear and supporter do not stand in the hatched areas.

The Club accepts no liability for tickets purchased through unofficial channels. 


The King Power Stadium has a multi-faith prayer room available. For information please speak to your nearest steward.

The nearest cashpoint it located at Morrisons Supermarket on Freemans Park, roughly a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

If you are reporting a hate crime, please text “Foxes” followed by your message explaining including seat details and the nature of your concern, to 60066.

Code of conduct: Respect the badge

If you ever witness crime, vandalism, violence, drugs, the use of smoke bombs and pyrotechnics or abusive behaviour from visiting or home supporters, inside or outside a Stadium, contact a steward as soon as you can and report your concerns.

The King Power Stadium has a strict no smoking policy; the use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited.

Supporters travelling via public transport are asked to be mindful of other passengers travelling and respect the staff on board.
