Important information for fans attending Cityzens Saturday at the City Football Academy on 5 August.
All turnstiles at the Academy Stadium will open from 10am on Saturday 5 August for the Open Training session.
Please use the turnstile printed on your ticket to gain entry to the event. The North-East turnstile is fully accessible for disabled supporters.
Supporters attending the afternoon event only will be required to enter through the North-East and North-West turnstiles only, which will open from 2pm.
Please be aware: You will not be able to exit and re-enter this event.
Travelling to the Academy Stadium
Ensure you check travel conditions before setting out. Highways England provides live traffic information via its website, local and national radio travel bulletins and electronic road signs.

The Metrolink runs from Manchester city centre and Piccadilly Train Station directly to the Etihad Stadium and Velopark Metrolink stops and on towards Ashton Under Lyne.
The Velopark drops you directly opposite the North side of the Academy Stadium.
Supporters are not able to use their Metrolink Matchday Season Ticket for this match and must purchase a ticket for their journey.
On-site parking is available at the Etihad Stadium. For this event Supporters can use both the Orange & Blue car parks, the Blue car park can be accessed from Alan Turing Way (A6010) via gate 2 (postcode M11 4DW).
The Orange car park can be accessed from Alan Turing Way (A6010) via gate 3 (postcode M11 4TA).
Accessible parking is available on the North Car Park at the Academy Stadium. Please contact the Club’s Access Officer to register for a parking space on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, 1, 1)
Parking for this event is free of charge.
Tickets for the Open Training session have now sold out.
However, due to the popular demand, we have released a limited amount of FREE afternoon only tickets so that fans who missed out on Open Training tickets can still head over to the City Football Academy and enjoy some live entertainment and family fun as we celebrate the start of the 2017/18 Season.

All tickets purchased online will be available using the Print@Home e-ticket.
From 9am until 5:30pmtickets will be available via the ticket machines located at the North-West corner of the Academy Stadium (City Plaza).
Tickets will also be available from the Etihad Stadium Ticket Office, open from 9am until 5:30pm. The Ticket Office is located opposite the City Store in City Square, behind the stage.
Supporters Under 14 are unable to enter the stadium without an Adult (Over 18). Photo ID may be requested. We will be operating a RESERVED seating policy in the seated area of the Academy Stadium for the Open Training session.
Home Match tickets will also be on sale during the afternoon event, you can secure your tickets for the 2017/18 Season by visiting the Ticket Office located opposite the Academy Stadium within the Cityzens event (Subject to availability and published sales criteria)
Please be aware: All tickets are sold subject to availability. We advise that you purchase Cityzens Saturday tickets in advance to avoid disappointment as the event could sell out at any time.
You are reminded to print your Print@Home e-ticket(s) on white A4 plain paper prior to leaving for the event.
If you are unable to print your ticket, you can collect a reprint from the Etihad Stadium Ticket Office located opposite the City Store in City Square, behind the stage.
Food and beverage
This is available at concessions, located in the four corners of the Academy Stadium. Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted.
Additional food and beverage concessions will be available at the family festival after Open Training has finished.
The following items are not allowed to be brought in to the Academy Stadium:
- Pyrotechnics flares and smoke bombs
- Golf umbrella or any article that may be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety
- Professional recording equipment (audio and visual)
- Avoid bringing bags unless essential, and only small bags, after searches, will be allowed
- Food and drink
Please be aware: Push chairs are permitted for this event and can be stored for the Open Training session however this is left at your own risk.
The Academy Stadium and Etihad Campus are both smoke free zones, including the use of electronic cigarettes.
The Supporter Services phone line opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.The Etihad Stadium Ticket Office opening times are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm.
