Man City v Celtic: Ticket and travel information

Below you will find important service information ahead of our home match against Celtic on Tuesday 6 December, kick off 7:45pm.

Etihad Campus access

To ensure a safe and secure matchday, we have implemented an additional ticket check upon arrival at the Etihad Campus.  You will be required to show your Seasoncard, Cityzens Membership card or valid match ticket at the green fence, which is the perimeter line  around the campus. 

Ticket checks will also be carried out for supporter’s disembarking the Metrolink Etihad Campus stop. Only supporters with a valid match ticket will be allowed access to the campus and can therefore enter the stadium.

We ask all supporters to arrive as early as possible but advise no later than 60-minutes before kick-off and not to bring any bags unless essential.

All bags will be searched, in accordance with our regular matchday security procedures, which may cause a delay in entering the stadium. We thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation.

Pre-match access to the City Store, Stadium Tours and Ticket Office

To access the City Store and if you are booked on to a stadium tour, all supporters should park in the Blue Car Park off Alan Turing Way.  A charge of £10 will be applied upon entry but will be refunded upon exit*. 

The shuttle service will be available for supporters that require assistance to reach the top of Joe Mercer Way. *Vehicles remaining on-site after 5:30pm will not receive a refund.

The Ticket Counter in the City Store will open from 9am to 12.00pm for the purchase of Stadium Tour tickets only. These are available subject to availability and only for supporters that present a valid match ticket.

Match ticket enquiries

All ticketing enquiries will be dealt with at the Ticket Trailer located on the plaza of the Academy Stadium or by calling Supporter Services on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3). 

We will be open from 9am until 8pm on matchday, please see parking and Metrolink information below.

There will be no tickets sales on Monday 5 December or Tuesday 6 December.

Pre-arranged match ticket collections

All home supporters who are collecting pre-purchased tickets for the Etihad Stadium may do so from the Ticket Collection Unit located on the plaza at the foot of the bridge at the Academy Stadium.

 We are open from 9am until 8pm on matchday. Supporters are strongly advised to collect their ticket(s) no later4 than 6:30pm.


If you are travelling by car to collect your ticket(s) you must park at Blue Car Park via Gate 2 on the Etihad Campus and walk to the Academy Stadium. Disabled Supporters collecting their tickets can park at West Car Park at the Academy Stadium, accessible off Alan Turing Way.


If you are travelling by Metrolink to collect your tickets, we would advise you to disembark at the Velopark Stop, opposite the Academy Stadium.

Travelling to the Stadium

Ensure you check travel conditions before setting out. Highways England provides live traffic information via its website, local and national radio travel bulletins and electronic road signs. Man City U19s v Celtic U19s - UEFA Youth League

This match takes place at the Academy Stadium; kick-off at 1pm.  Tickets must be claimed or purchased in advance, click here to book your tickets before 11:59pm on Sunday 4 December. Important car parking information is below:

For those attending the match at the Academy Stadium only:

Parking is available in the Blue Car Park off Alan Turing Way.  Supporters will be required to pay £10 per car upon entrance however cars leaving the campus before 3:15pm will receive a full refund upon presentation of their receipt, upon exit.  Vehicles leaving the stadium after 3:15pm or without a receipt will not be able to claim their refund.

For those attending matches at both the Academy Stadium and the Etihad Stadium:

Supporters with seasonal car parking passes are able to park in their standard matchday car park.  Supporters that pay on the day are able to access the Blue Car Park off Alan Turing Way.  The standard matchday charges of £10 per car.  Mini-buses and coaches are free of charge.

Seat relocations

It is important that any supporter that has been relocated sits in their new seat. Failure to do so may cause issues on the night and result in you missing the start of the match.  Supporters with Seasoncards or Cityzens card will have their card activated for the new seat or will have been advised to use a paper ticket, which will have been sent in advance or made available for collection on the night.

Official match ticket

All tickets are located in the home area for the use of Man City supporters only.  The Club does not have a neutral area and visiting supporters identified in the home areas may face ejection. It is important that you have purchased, and are in possession of, the correct ticket and that it is activated to allow you access into the stadium.

The Club accepts no liability for tickets purchased through unofficial channels. 

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) for all matches played at the Etihad Stadium. We advise you carry photo ID to prevent any issues entering the stadium. 

Supporters are NOT required to upgrade concessionary tickets for this match.

Code of Conduct: Respect the Badge

If you ever witness crime, vandalism, violence, drugs, the use of smoke bombs and pyrotechnics or abusive behaviour from home or visiting supporters, inside or outside the Etihad Stadium, make contact with a steward as soon as you can and report your concerns.

The singing section is located in the South Stand within block 111, part of block 114 and blocks 115-119. Supporters that sit outside of this section are not part of the singing section. All supporters are reminded that persistent standing is not allowed. Failure to adhere to this may result in an ejection or a stadium ban.

The entire Etihad Campus, including roadways, car parks and concourses, is smoke free. Use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited. We operate a strict, no re-admission policy and there will be no opportunity to leave and re-enter the stadium.

The Ticket Office and Supporter Services are open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm (closed Sunday and Bank Holidays). Both facilities will open on the day of all scheduled First Team home fixtures.  We will be open from 9am until 8pm for this match. Important ticket, travel and parking information ahead of our home match against Chelsea on Saturday 3 December, kick-off 12:30pm.

Supporters are asked to arrive as early as possible but advised to arrive no later than 45-minutes prior to kick off and not to bring any bags unless essential.
