Watch City v Preston North End live on CITY+

Manchester City step up our pre-season preparations next Tuesday when we play host to Preston North End at the Academy Stadium – and CITY+ subscribers will be able to watch every second of the action.

Though the friendly match is taking place behind closed doors as a COVID-19 safety precaution, the game will be screened exclusively live on CITY+.

And with City stepping up our preparations ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, next Tuesday also marks the welcome return of our unmissable live matchday show in the build-up to the Preston friendly

Appropriately enough for a new season, the show - formerly known as ‘We’re Not Really Here’ – returns with a brand-new title: ‘Matchday Live’.

However, it will remain essential viewing with ‘Matchday Live’ featuring big name guests, special features and content guaranteed to inform, inspire and entertain all City fans.

Available to watch on all our official digital platforms, ‘Matchday Live’ will once again be specifically tailored towards those who prefer a more City-centric take on proceedings.

Former City favourites Nedum Onuoha and Shaun Goater will be the special guests for next Tuesday’s Preston edition of ‘Matchday Live’ with Nedum and the Goat providing their trademark sharp, analytical insight and engaging, infectious good humour.

Next Tuesday’s inaugural show will get underway at 18:00pm (UK), an hour ahead of kick-off at the Academy Stadium, before Onuoha and Goater reconvene at the break to offer their half-time thoughts.

They will then be back after the final whistle to run the rule over our performance as well as pondering on all the big talking points.

Kick-off for the Preston game is at 7pm and supporters will be able to follow every kick of our clash with the Lilywhites with a CITY+ subscription.

A CITY+ subscription includes the live stream of selected Women’s, EDS and Academy matches throughout the season, as well as full-match replays and exclusive CityTV productions.
