Do you have what it takes to join the Manchester City Girls’ Academy?

As part of its status as a Tier 1 Regional Talent Club, the current Women’s Super League Champions and WSL Continental Cup holders, will be hosting a series of open trials for female players at the City Football Academy this June. 

The City Football Academy is a state of the art youth development and elite training facility where players of all ages have access to world class facilities and expert coaching and support staff to help them fulfil their potential and take their game to the next level.

If you think you have what it takes then please sign up for our open trials, open to both goalkeepers and outfield players.

Key Dates:

Trial 1

  • Under 16s & Development Squad – Tuesday 6 June 5.30pm - 9pm
  • U10s & U12s – Wednesday 7 June 5.30pm - 8pm
  • U14s – Wednesday 7 June 7.30pm – 9pm

Please note, if successful in the first round of trials the following dates may apply:

Trial 2

  • Under 16s & Development Squad – Friday 9 June 5.30pm - 9pm
  • U10s & U12s – Saturday 10 June 9.30am - 11am
  • U14s – Saturday 10 June 9.30am – 11am

Trial 3

  • Under 16s & Development Squad – Tuesday 13 June 5.30pm - 9pm
  • U10s & U12s – Wednesday 14 June 5.30pm – 8pm
  • U14s – Wednesday 14 June 7.30pm - 9pm

Registration

You must complete the online application form.

An email will be sent to confirm your attendance and further details in due course. Please note players won’t be permitted on the day if an online application hasn’t been completed.

Kit

Please bring appropriate training kit for football, including football boots, shin pads and a full water bottle. Please note, players may be indoors or outdoors on synthetic surfaces.

To be eligible to attend players must be between the following ages:

  • U10 – 1 Sept 2007 – 31 August 2009
  • U12 – 1 Sept 2005 – 31 August 2007
  • U14 – 1 Sept 2003 – 31 August 2005
  • U16 – 1 Sept 2001 – 31 August 2003
  • Development squad – Players aged between 16-18 years old

To apply you must also meet the below criteria:

Your home postcode must be within 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel time of our training ground postcode: M11 4TQ

You must have an English parent or an English grandparent OR you must have been educated in England for at least five consecutive years.
