Bronze recognised by Official Supporter's Club

Lucy Bronze has been crowned the 2016 winner of Manchester City Women’s Official Supporter’s Club Player of the Season Award.

The defender enjoyed a stellar season on the right side of a Blues’ defence that conceded only four league goals and was recognised at a presentation with branch members at the City Football Academy.

Bronze follows Izzy Christiansen as the second recipient of the supporter’s award, which no doubt caps a memorable year for the England international, who was an ever present in Nick Cushing’s double-winning side.

The right back, who has also been nominated for the Etihad Airways Player of the Season Award, received her trophy from branch member, Amy Grange.

Amy was the lucky winner of the Supporter’s Club raffle and also presented the 25-year-old with a commemorative plaque as well as a unique painting from @9320Art, which depicts her in action against Chelsea.
