The new FA Women's Super League campaign is just days away.
Manchester City Women travel to Birmingham City Ladies in their league opener this weekend, having kicked-off their latest adventure on Sunday with victory over Doncaster Rovers Belles in the FA Women's Cup.
Following the success achieved in 2014 with a fifth-place finish in the top flight and a Continental Cup lift, this year brings new expectation.
The club have been busy in the transfer market since then, bringing in no fewer than six new faces to the squad and securing the services of two promising youngsters, who have also committed their immediate futures to Nick Cushing's side.
Jennifer Beattie, Lucy Bronze, Demi Stokes, Sarah Wiltshire and Natasha Harding have all made permanent moves to Manchester, while Georgia Brougham and Alex Brooks have penned their first senior contracts and Nikita Parris has joined on loan from Everton.
The off-season has also brought a change of location for the team, who have now moved into the state-of-the-art City Football Academy and play their home games at the 7,000-capacity Academy Stadium.
The club has come a long way since its re-launch in January 2014 and CityTV have documented the side's first season in the top flight of women's football in England.
