Seven Blues reach World Cup semi-finals

Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Fabian Delph, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Benjamin Mendy will all keep the sly blue flag flying in the World Cup semi-finals..

England’s comfortable 2-0 win over Sweden set up a semi-final with Croatia next Wednesday where City’s Three Lions quartet will hope to feature again.

Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli mean England will compete their first semi-final in the competition since 1990.

Croatia edged past hosts Russia 4-3 on penalties after drawing 2-2 to set up the clash with Gareth Southgate’s side.
