City's record-breaking season continues
Manchester City recorded their 16th-consecutive victory in all competitions with a 2-0 victory over Leicester on Saturday, setting a new Club record.

It was also City’s seventh consecutive away league victory, eclipsing the previous Club best of six in a row set all the way back in 1903, and means they have won 10 consecutive league games in the same season for the first time.

The result takes City’s unbeaten run to a remarkable 24 matches in all competitions, which, again, is a new Cub record, with their last defeat coming in the FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal in April.

Pep Guardiola’s side are now nine points clear at the top of the Premier League, having taken 34 points from a possible 36.
