Nolito is hoping for another taste of the FA Cup this weekend after enjoying a dream debut in the competition earlier this month.
The City forward came on early in the second half as the Blues beat West Ham 5-0 and was unlucky not to add a couple of goals himself.
He says the tradition of the FA Cup is well known and respected in Spain and he is champing at the bit to play against Palace.
“It’s a great competition to play in and the game against West Ham was the first time I played in it,” smiled Nolito.
“All my team-mates have told me how important the FA Cup is and I came to England to win titles and enjoy myself and that’s what I’ll be trying to do.
“It’s not just in England that this cup is special. I think it’s still highly respected the world over. In Spain we watch Spanish football and Spanish cups, but we also watch English football and the FA Cup and if you speak to anyone in Spain they know exactly what the FA Cup is and its traditions.
“I’ve not been playing as much lately which is the decision of the manager because he has a big, talented squad so getting into that first eleven is very difficult.
“I’m just waiting for my chance, working as hard as possible in training and waiting for that opportunity and if it comes against Crystal Palace, I’ll be doing everything I can to make sure we leave Selhurst Park with a win.”
