Aguero starts on bench for City

NOT AGAIN! Sergio Aguero sees his spot-kick saved

NOT AGAIN! Sergio Aguero sees his spot-kick saved

Sergio Aguero again starts on the bench as City make three changes for the UCL game with Barcelona.

The three players to drop out from Saturday's starting XI are Gael Clichy, Leroy Sane and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Starting XI:

There's no Iheanacho or Vincent Kompany on the bench as the Blues look to avoid defeat against the La Liga giants for the first time in a competitive fixture.

Barca XI:

1.Ter Stegen
11.Neymar Jr

False 9?

Will Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling or Nolito take the mantle as City's lone striker - or will all three interchange throughout the evening? It looks as though Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan will sit deeper with David Silva more advanced.

Kolarov and Zabaleta will be tasked with John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi to stop Barca's marauding front line...

For the hosts, Sergi Roberto returns and Jordi Alba also returns to leave the Catalans pretty much at full strength.

Zabaleta: City need perfection against Barca

WARM UP: The lads get ready for today's session.

Defender Pablo Zabaleta says City need to play a “perfect” game to defeat Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.

Barca have a 100% record against City in the Champions League - albeit in the knock-out stages rather than group - and the La Liga come into the match after a 4-0 win over Deportivo at the weekend.
