Martin Demichelis has officially left City after three years with the Club.
He made 35 appearances during his first season scoring two goals on the way to City winning the Premier League and Capital One Cup double to complete an impressive start.
He made 40 appearances during the 2014/15 season and was one of the best players of the campaign and was solid throughout, gaining cult status among the City fans.
With Nicolas Otamendi arriving at the club. Demichelis appeared less in his final year, making 17 starts in all competitions as well as 13 more from the bench.
Despite Vincent Kompany’s injury problems, the main defensive partnership in the skipper’s absence appeared to be Eliaquim Mangala and Otamendi.
He made his 100th appearance against Chelsea in the FA Cup and finished with 105 appearances in total and four goals.
Richard Wright has also left the Club.
Wright joined City from Preston North End in 2012 but never made a first team appearance for the Blues, despite making the bench a number of times.
The 37 year-old has since announced his retirement from playing.
Everybody at Manchester City wishes Martin and Richard the very best for the future and thank them for their service.
