Etihad Player of the Season: The Final Three

Player of the season 2015-16 final three

Player of the season 2015-16 final three

The race for the Etihad Player of the Season in association with the Official Supporters Club has intensified with The Final Three short-list revealed.

The first round of voting was open to all the City squad and people have voted in their thousands – but now the three players who polled the most votes go into the final round.

Kevin De Bruyne, Ferandinho and Sergio Aguero will now go head-to-head in the battle to be named the MCFC Etihad Player of the Season for 2015/16 – an award Aguero won last year.

Aguero’s 29 goals for the Blues saw him come within a whisker of taking the Premier League Golden Boot for a second successive year, while De Bruyne enjoyed a stunning first season with City, topping the assists charts and scoring 16 goals from midfield.

Fernandinho’s consistency in midfield has been a mainstay throughout the 2015/16 and the Brazilian has perhaps enjoyed his best campaign yet.

The vote is expected to be close – who will you choose?

Vote now – poll closes 30 June.
