It's been another fascinating season with City at the centre of some of the biggest stories of 2015-16.
Let's take a look back at the 10 most read stories on MCFC.co.uk since the start of pre-season way back in early July last year...
1. Pellegrini/Guardiola statement, 1 February
The Club’s announcement that Pep Guardiola would follow in Manuel Pellegrini’s footsteps as head coach from the start of next season made waves around the footballing world, and unsurprisingly leads the way as our most read story of the last year.
2. Aguero takes no.10 shirt, 7 August
Sergio finally got to claim the City number 10 shirt after wearing 16 in his first four years. “16 was a beautiful number, but I think I’ll wear 10 until I retire,” he told CityTV. Let’s hope he’s wearing 10 for a long time to come, eh?
3. Sterling joins City, 14 July
We set a new club record transfer fee to bring the talented England international along the M62 from Anfield to Etihad Stadium. Similarly, the numbers of people who wanted to know the official confirmation were also impressive.
4. New club badge revealed, 26 December
A late Christmas present that really got people talking…
5. De Bruyne signs, 30 August
“Announce De Bruyne” was the common response to most City social media posts last summer, but finally on 30 August we did.
6. Otamendi joins, 20 August
City’s move for the Argentine defender proved to be a big hit..
7. Squad numbers revealed, 8 August
An annual event that’s always of interest, this season’s headline grabber was Sergio’s move from 16 to 10 (see above).
8. Aguero injured for Argentina, 9 October
Kun left the field in tears during an appearance for Argentina, and given his astonishing five-goal display the week before against Newcastle, this prompted understandable finger-crossing from City fans. It would be just over a month before he was back, and scored on an otherwise forgettable night under the Etihad Stadium lights against Liverpool.
9. Champions League quarter-final draw, 18 March
City’s progress in the Champions League provoked feverish anticipation when it came to the draws being made for the next round, in this case when Paris St-Germain were matched with the Blues.
10. Delph signs for City, 17 July
Fabian’s five-year deal to make the move from Aston Villa to City back in mid-July was another high-profile signing that proved to be a big hit.
