Road to the Last 16: How Kyiv got there

City and Dynamo Kiev meet for the first half of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash on Wednesday night but how did our opponents get here?

Sergei Rebrov’s charges qualified from Group G as runners-up behind Chelsea.

Dynamo finished second in Group G to Chelsea, claiming three wins, two draws and one defeat.

After drawing 2-2 at home with Porto, they won 2-0 away at Maccabi Tel Aviv and earned a goalless draw at home to Jose Mourinho's men, who then beat them at Stamford Bridge.

The Ukrainians responded with a 2-0 victory in Portugal and a 1-0 win on home soil against Tel Aviv to progress.
