It was the month where it all came together, the FA Cup was won and third place in the Barclays Premier League gave City a ticket straight through to the group stages of the Champions League. You've got to agree with Joe, it was "deeeeeeeecent"!
It was a month for rare and unusual events alright; City broke the 35-year hoodoo, Kate Bush released a new album and Nigel de Jong scored! I'll write that again - Nigel de Jong scored! And it was a cracker that got May off to the perfect start.
Mario & Patrick made a welcome visit to St Ann's Hospice, where they were set straight on the art of making a good cuppa. "But Patrick, I thought you put the milk and tea bag into a mug first?" "No Mario, I've lived in this country for a long time, it's a pot every time for me."
Carlos worked hard to get back into contention for the final, and his spirits were lifted one day in training when Nigel claimed he'd score again before the end of the decade.
The picture we all waited a long, long time to see!
Blues fans packed out the city centre and the route up to the stadium as the wonderful Homecoming Parade brought down the curtain on a season to remember. Now for 2011/12!
