Emmanuel Adebayor arrives at Durban

Emmanuel Adebayor has met up with his new Manchester City team mates after arriving in Durban this afternoon.

The striker flew to the South African coastal city to link up with the squad, who play Kaizer Chiefs at the ABSA Stadium tonight.

He was greeted at the team hotel by the Blues' management team and the club's CEO Garry Cook.

Emmanuel will not feature in tonight's game, but could be ready for the final match of the Vodacom Challenge at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday, and he told mcfc.co.uk, "I feel fit and I'm ready to play, I want to show what I can do in training and prepare for Saturday's game."
