City midfielder Willo Flood has joined Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee

The 21-year-old from Dublin made 18 appearances for the Blues since his senior debut against TNS in the Uefa Cup three years ago.

Flood scored in the first Premiership game he started, at home to Norwich in November 2004. He also had two loan spells in his time as a City player, with Rochdale in March 2004 and Coventry City at the start of last season.

After returning from the Ricoh Stadium, Willo overcame a groin injury to force his way back into the reckoning at City, and he made five further appearances towards the end of the last Premiership campaign.

Everyone at the Club would like to wish Willo every success for the future.
