City's Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abu has had his loan with Norwegian side Stromsgodset extended.

The 19 year-old moved there last summer after signing professional forms with City, and having helped the Drammen-based club win Norway's FA Cup in November he re-signed for the first half of 2011.

Abu has continued to impress Stromsgodset this year, playing 13 times so far this season, where they currently sit in fourth place in the Norwegian Premier League, with a Europa League tie also in the offing. His new deal extends his stay in Norway until 1 January 2012.
