Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and City striker Ellen White have both been nominated for prestigious FIFA awards.
Guardiola, who guided City to an historic clean sweep of England’s four domestic trophies last term, has been short-listed for the manager of the year prize in the Best FIFA Football Awards.
White meanwhile, who joined City earlier this summer and who shone at the recent Women’s World Cup finals, scoring six goals in total as England reached the semi-finals, has been included on the 12-strong short-list for the best women’s player.

The winners will be revealed on 23 September, following a public vote.
