Kompany set for Junior Cityzens press conference

ANNUAL EVENT: Junior Cityzens Press Conference.

ANNUAL EVENT: Junior Cityzens Press Conference.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany will be quizzed by a host of young fans as he takes his place in the hot seat for this year’s Junior Cityzens Press Conference.

The Belgian defender is no stranger to being grilled by the press and is set to follow in the footsteps of Fabian Delph and John Stones for a press conference with a twist.

A selection of lucky Junior Cityzens will invade the Media Centre at the City Football Academy on Monday 15 January, when they will take on the role of the nation’s journalists in our annual children-only event.

Each child will have the opportunity to ask Kompany a question and they’ll also get the chance to capture a selfie, an autograph and a group photo, which they’ll be able to keep.

We’ve had some cracking questions in previous years and City's No.4 will be bracing himself for hard-hitting posers such as, what super power he would choose and whether footballers are allowed Christmas pudding.
