Ian is well-known to City fans as a passionate fan and specialist reporter and commentator on all things City.
He spent over 20 years at the BBC as their dedicated Manchester City reporter, but was also the Club's original video commentator back in the 1980s.
He hosted the Junior Blues for 15 years and was the stadium announcer for the Club during a career that has seen him report from all City's games since the 1970s.
Ian has attended well over 2000 matches and hundreds of supporter events down the years, developing a unique understanding of the Club and its supporters.
After leaving the BBC in 2017, Ian began producing matchday Youtube vlogs involving fans, ex-players in his own inimitable presenting style.
They have been hugely successful and offer a unique insight into the matchday experience at both home and away games.
