CITYZENS SUNDAY: Join us at the CFA for a day of family fun and open training

On Sunday 26 August, Manchester City will be opening the doors at City Football Academy to welcome fans for a fun filled day of activities to celebrate the new Premier League season.

The event will kick off with an open training session in the Academy Stadium with Pep Guardiola and the men’s team, followed by a football festival featuring a host of attractions and family friendly activities, at the heart of City Football Academy.

The day will conclude with the women’s team in Continental Cup action at the Academy Stadium as they take on Leicester in their first competitive home fixture of the 2018/19 season.

The Academy Stadium will operate on unreserved seating for both the open training and the match.

Tickets for Cityzens Sunday include access to all three events and are priced as follows:

  • Adults £6
  • Over 65s £4
  • U16s £4

A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to the Club’s foundation, City in the Community.

Tickets are now on General Sale (can purchase 4 tickets) – Tuesday 14 August at 9am

*Supporters who hold both a Men’s and Women’s Seasoncard will only be able to purchase a maximum of 4 tickets.

**Please note that Manchester City Women’s Seasoncard holders will receive access to Cityzens Sunday as part of their Seasoncard and will be eligible to purchase an additional 3 tickets.

CITYZENS SUNDAY SCHEDULE:

Doors open from 9.30am

MEN’S OPEN TRAINING – From 10.30am

The day will kick-off with the men’s players and coach Pep Guardiola taking part in an Open Training Session at the Academy Stadium, giving fans the chance to get up close to their favourite stars. Our new summer signing Riyad Mahrez will join the rest of the squad to sign autographs and take photographs with fans.

FOOTBALL FESTIVAL – From 12 noon

After Open Training fans will be invited to head outside where City Football Academy will be transformed into a Football Festival with a host of family-friendly activities alongside the Premier League and Carabao Cup trophies and our most recent silverware, the Community Shield.

WOMEN’S CONTINENTAL CUP ACTION – From 3pm

At the end of the day you’ll have the chance to watch the women’s team take on Leicester in the Continental Cup for their first competitive home match of the season. With new recruits Lauren Hemp, Caroline Weir, Gemma Bonner and Tessa Wullaert added to the ranks, the Blues will look to chase silverware on four fronts this season.

Tickets are available online only. Tickets are issued subject to availability and sold subject to Manchester City Terms and Conditions of Sale and Ground Regulations available here.

The Ticket Office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. Supporter Services is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Both facilities will open at 10am on Thursday and are closed on Weekends and Bank Holidays, except where there is a First Team home match.
