Supported by Visit Abu Dhabi, the tour takes us across the Atlantic for the second successive year, as we again prepare for the new Premier League season by competing in the International Champions Cup.
We kick-off against Dortmund in Chicago, where we’ll play at the Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field Stadium on Friday 20 July, before travelling to New York City to face Liverpool at the 82,000 capacity MetLife Stadium on Wednesday 25 July.
Our final game, against Pep Guardiola’s former club, Bayern, takes place in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday 28 July, a destination which takes on extra significance as we will have both our men and women’s first team on tour in the city at the same time.
Two-time Premier League winner, Joleon Lescott, was in Miami to represent the Club as the fixtures were revealed and once we head Stateside we will host a series of fan and community events across these three destinations.
Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
"Our previous tour of the United States last summer provided a great platform for the team to kick off its current campaign and we are excited to confirm our plans for this year,” said Manchester City’s chief operating officer, Omar Berrada.
"This year’s visit to the US will be extra special for the Club as we get to combine our men’s and women’s tours for the first time when they both play matches in Miami.
“Manchester City has a great following in the United States with a growing and passionate fanbase.
"The team is looking forward to meeting and playing in front of thousands of our US fans for what promises to be a fantastic tour.”
