Young fans can enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes video content thanks to the launch of the new Man City Kids App.
The app will be officially unveiled at the Man City Kids Fans Zone on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April outside the National Football Museum.
From 10am – 7pm on Saturday and 11am – 5.30 pm on Sunday, this free event will give fans the opportunity to try out the app and take part in games and activities for the whole family as we celebrate our recent Premier League win with our younger fans.
As well as taking users behind-the-scenes at the City Football Academy, the free cross-platform children’s app for six to twelve-year-olds also includes games and football themed quizzes in a safe and easy to use mobile app and online portal.
Man City Kids is also the new home of Junior Cityzens, the free membership for younger fans.
Junior Cityzens can get closer to the club they love, win signed shirts and even get the chance to meet their favourite players at the Etihad Stadium.
Supporters will be able to keep up-to-date with City news and the world of football with the exclusive ‘Xtra Time’ weekly video show with content from the Club’s men’s, women’s and academy teams, while the app also includes a built-in emoji function and ‘City Editor’ feature, which allows you to edit your own videos with special effects and interactive stickers.
Available to download on smartphone and tablet via the iTunes App Store and Google Play, this new offering also includes polls, as well as fun click-games featuring our official mascots, Moonbeam and Moonchester.

“I think the Man City Kids App is a great way for kids to have fun and engage with the sport from an early age,” said Vincent Kompany.
“We love meeting our young fans and this app offers fans the chance to share some really fun experiences with us, as well as see behind the scenes at the Club.”
Built with the help of young football fans and their parents, the app is specifically tailored for the next generation of supporters.
Safety and security were also at the forefront of the design and there are no in-app purchases, it operates on closed networks only and is fully compliant with Children’s Online Privacy Protection (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Parents can also control how long their children can access the app using the in-app timer function.
