Now, thanks to a new initiative, the Etihad Campus is coming to life and it wants to talk to Manchester City fans.
Beginning at the Manchester derby on Saturday 7 April, ‘Hello Man City’ will run until the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday 13 May.
During this time, five objects around the campus, including the Etihad Stadium and City Square, as well as the Pep Guardiola model at the Manchester Arndale City Store, will be able to talk to fans.
They’ll have questions for you and they want to hear your stories, opinions and memories, so, during your next visit to the Etihad Campus keep an eye out for these signed objects.
To join the conversation all you need is a mobile phone.
Suitable for all ages and free to play (Standard SMS charges apply) you’ll be able to hear exclusive stories about players and the Club and at the City Square station on matchdays you can even find out the starting XI.
A 10% discount on merchandise in the Etihad Stadium City Store* is also available for fans who chat to three or more objects around the campus.

Pick an object
- Look out for an object with a code on it.
- Say hello
- Send a text to +44 161 850 8815 in this format:
- “Hello” + object name + #code
- e.g. “Hello Pep #MC3”.
Keep talking
- You’ll soon get a reply. Answer the object’s questions and learn what other people around the stadium have to say.
