Manchester City representatives recently visited the Flixton branch of the Official Supporters Club.
Branch members had the chance to ask questions to a panel including Operations Director, Danny Wilson, Head of City in the Community, Mike Green, striker Georgia Stanway and Club legend Fred Eyre.
The panel took questions on City Football Group’s style of play, the role of City in the Community in the local area and plans for the future of the Etihad Stadium.
The Flixton Supporters Club is a branch of the Manchester City Supporters Club, encompassing more than 210 branches across the globe supported by the Club and each other.
The Flixton branch has 50 members and 95% of the members are seasoncard holders.
The evening was enjoyed by all involved, Secretary of the branch Carole Dean said: “They were very honest with the answers, Georgia Stanway was particularly interesting.
“The rest of the branches are in for a real treat if all of the meetings are as entertaining as ours was."
Branch member, Tommy added: “What a great night to be able to talk and ask questions face to face with prominent people from MCFC. No branch member should miss them when they go to other branches.”
The roadshow continues in the new year with the club set to visit other North West supporters clubs over the coming months.
