A new feature from Manchester City and SAP SE, will give supporters access to key player statistics and a range of exciting content in the build up to games at the Etihad Stadium.

The Club and its official Cloud Software Provider will unveil the new #CityPulse Wall ahead of the Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday 17 September.

Located in City Square, the latest addition to the Etihad Stadium matchday experience is the Premier League’s first fan-friendly, interactive digital wall featuring a touchscreen interface and video display.

Certain to be a conversation starter before Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven is revealed, the #CityPulse Wall provides access to real-time player statistics across the First Team, Man City Women and Elite Development Squad.

A must visit for keen statisticians, supporters will have the opportunity to analyse their favourite players throughout the season and thanks to tailored performance indicators, will gain a greater understanding of how the Blues are performing on the pitch.

A range of exciting content will also bring a new dimension in the build up to kick off. With head-to-head comparisons, CityTV content, fan quizzes and polls, the #CityPulse Wall offers plenty of pre-game entertainment.

Central to this is a ‘memory maker’ which allows Blues to create and share their own unique, digital postcards, and with a live social media feed, fans can also join the pre-match conversation.

Commenting on the upcoming unveil of the #CityPulse Wall, Omar Berrada, Chief Operating Officer for Manchester City, said: “Connecting with our global fan base in innovative and meaningful ways is a top priority for everyone at Manchester City and by collaborating with SAP, we are able to utilise their breakthrough technologies, both at the Etihad Stadium and online, to enhance every fan’s matchday experience.

"The #CityPulse Wall is an opportunity to provide a unique digital experience for fans and the new website widgets mean no matter where they may be, fans can access all the matchday data they are looking for. We are excited to share this Premier League first with our fans and to continue working with SAP to innovate across all areas of the Club and Group.”

The arrival of the #CityPulse Wall follows a collaboration between SAP, the Club and the fans last season, when the idea of providing behind the scenes player statistics was trialled on the City Matchday App. Influenced by supporter feedback, the #CityPulse Wall is the latest step in the Club's ongoing to commitment to enhancing fan experience.

The Club’s new website will also benefit from SAP’s expertise, as a series of statistical widgets will soon be visible on ManCity.com, which will bring player, team and matchday data alive. From Saturday, supporters will have access to head-to-head and win-loss records as well as a real-time possession indicator during the game.

Kevin Kimber, Head of Cloud, SAP UK, is delighted to be able to bring fans closer to the game with these statistical insights.

He added: “We’re excited to unveil the CityPulse Wall for Manchester City fans, the latest in a series of technology innovations designed to reimagine and transform the ways that data can inform and enhance the fan experience.”

Head down to City Square before Saturday's game against Bournemouth to check out the #CityPulse Wall.
