Manchester City have announced a global partnership with Nexen Tire, the leading South Korean tyre and tubing brand, which will become the Club’s Official Tyre Partner.

The partnership was unveiled at a signing ceremony at the City Football Academy, the Club’s headquarters, attended by Ferran Soriano, Chief Executive of Manchester City FC and Ho-Chan Kang, President of Nexen Tire. Executives then attended one of the Club’s final training sessions before the new Premier League campaign, which was presented by Nexen Tire.

Nexen Tire, which becomes one of the Club’s most significant Asia-based partners, has undergone a rapid global expansion and this new relationship, as part of the brand’s sports marketing strategy, will enable it to reach an even broader consumer audience.

As well as having a wide-ranging rights package as part of the agreement, including an LED presence at all of Manchester City’s home games at the Etihad Stadium, Nexen Tire will also assume naming rights of the community bridge linking the Etihad Stadium with the City Football Academy.
