Mark Christmas Jumper Day with Manchester City

BEST BUDS: Even these two have disagreed on the Festive Face Off!

BEST BUDS: Even these two have disagreed on the Festive Face Off!

Friday 16 December marks National Christmas Jumper day and what better way to join in than with one of Manchester City’s festive offerings?

As people everywhere don their novelty knitwear, this is the perfect opportunity to get in on the act with a City Santa or Elf jumper.

You can get your hands on your favourite design online at mancity.com/shop and in the City Store at the Etihad Stadium and on Market Street and with 40% off, they are currently priced at £18 for adults and £15 for kids.

Better still, there’s a prize to be won!

With the annual celebration of festive knitwear arriving as the Manchester City Festive Face Off reaches its conclusion, we want you to give your side a must needed boost and show your support on Twitter.

This Friday, send us a picture of you in your City Christmas jumper with your team’s hashtag - #CitySanta or #CityElf – for a chance to win a pair of tickets to see Pep Guardiola’s men take on Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday 18 December.

Not picked a side yet? Buy your jumper now!

National Christmas Jumper day also forms part of City in the Community’s (CITC) #BlueChristmas campaign, which this year has seen the Foundation team up with Big Change Manchester - a collection of grassroots organisations that support homeless people in the city.

Between now and Christmas CITC coaches will work alongside Newbury House in Rusholme, which provides supported accommodation for the homeless.

They will hand over warm winter items, decorate their shelter with an array of festive trimmings and donate supermarket vouchers for the homeless or those at risk of becoming homeless, in time for Christmas.
