He’s netted 150 times for City and you won’t be surprised to hear that Sergio Aguero is equally as prolific on EA SPORTS FIFA.

The video game version of our ace marksman racked up more than 120 million goals on last season’s edition of EA SPORTS’ popular franchise – FIFA 16.

Gamers ensured it was the Argentine who topped the goal scoring charts for the Blues, with Yaya Toure and Raheem Sterling completing the top three with 40.03 million and 38.15 million goals respectively.

The Club’s Official Gaming Partner recently revealed the City-centric stats from the 2016 instalment of FIFA*, which proved a huge 88.6 million users had taken charge of the Blues, while 93.3 million had faced them as opposition.

Meanwhile, it was Real Madrid who were City’s biggest rivals on the game, with users taking control of Aguero and co against Los Blancos for 11.1 million games, while fans of the Spanish giants have played against our boys 11.7 million times.

The 2016 home kit was the most popular attire for gamers to choose when playing as City – 59% of people selected that kit, with 24% of people opting for the away strip and 17% going for the ghost green third kit.

Finally, the Etihad Stadium was a popular venue, with 56 million games taking place in the FIFA version during the course of last season.

Not bad!

STATESIDE: The Manchester City Cup heads back to San Diego.

California will once again be the setting as Manchester City returns to the United States to host one of the largest youth soccer tournaments on the other side of the Atlantic.

The Blues will be back in San Diego for a third successive year this May as part of the Manchester City Cup.
