Manchester City are sad to announce the death of former manager Jimmy Frizzell.
Frizzell made his name with Oldham Athletic, managing the Latics from 1970 to 1982.
His year in charge at Maine Road was during a difficult period for the Club and the Blues ended in 21st place in Division One with City relegated to the second tier.
When Howard Kendall came in to manage the Club Frizell took on the role of general manager and chief scout.
Frizzell passed away aged 79.
Everybody at Manchester City send their sincere condolences to Jimmy’s family.
