Manchester City can today confirm that Georgios Samaras has completed a move to Celtic on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The Greek international striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Parkhead and chipped in with some vital goals for the Hoops as they went on to win the SPL title for the third season in a row.
At City, Samaras scored just 12 goals in 65 appearances following his transfer from Heerenveen in January 2006.
The 23-year-old could now be in line for a swift reunion with the Blues as the two teams meet for a friendly in Glasgow next month.
Georgios goes to Celtic Park with the Club’s best wishes for the future.
