Reserve striker Ashley Grimes has been released by City but will link up with some familiar faces after signing for Millwall.
Grimes, a product of City’s Youth Academy, has been snapped up by Lions’ boss Kenny Jackett, who managed City’s reserves until October last year.
Jackett already has one former Blue in his ranks, having signed midfielder Marc Laird halfway through last season.
21-year-old Grimes, on target seven times during the 2007/08 Barclays Premier Reserve League season, spent six weeks on loan at Swindon Town towards the end of 2006/07.
Everybody at Manchester City wishes Ashley the best of luck for the future.
