Mobile Season Tickets

If you have changed your mobile device or have removed your Season Ticket from your Apple Wallet*/Google Pay please follow the videos below to re-download. If for any reason you receive an error message when re-downloading to your device please contact the Club. 

*If you have recently updated your Apple iPhone to the latest iOS software and your pass does not show in your wallet please retrieve this from ‘View Expired Passes’ in the first instance.

Mobile Tickets are digital passes that can be stored within Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your smartphone or smartwatch.

Mobile Tickets use NFC technology and can be used for contactless entry into both the Etihad Stadium and Joie Stadium by holding your device above the reader at the turnstile.

Models supported are; the original Apple Watch and later, all Face ID iPhones and all Touch ID iPhones except 5s.

Supporters who do not have NFC technology on their device will be able to use their barcode on the mobile ticket to enter the Stadium.

The Mobile Season Ticket in your Apple or Google Wallet will automatically be refreshed for the 2023/24 season. Please do not delete your Mobile Season Ticket from your mobile wallet at the end of the current season.

If you renew the same seat, we will update your existing Mobile Season Ticket ahead of the 2023/24 season and we will inform you once this has been done.

However, if you would like to make any changes to your Season Ticket, such as changing between Season Ticket Levels (i.e. moving from Gold to Platinum), amending your bank details or changing your Cup Schemes, you will be supplied with a new Mobile Season Ticket ahead of the new season.

 

Once you have successfully downloaded your digital ticket, you will be able to view it at any time by opening the Google Wallet app on your Android phone or the Apple Wallet app on your iPhone.

Your ticket will contain important information such as your seat and entrance details, so please be sure to check this information prior to arrival at the stadium.

To download your Mobile Season Ticket through your account, follow the steps below on your Mobile Phone:

  • Go to mancity.com/tickets
  • Click the silhouette icon in the top right of your screen
  • Click 'My Ticketing Account'
  • Click 'Season Tickets' from the account menu
  • On your mobile device, click on 'Download'  to add to your Apple/Google Wallet

You must be part of the same City Family Group (strongly linked friend and family) in order to download another supporters' season ticket. See below example.

Please note, you must download this on your Mobile Phone, not on a laptop, desktop or tablet.

How do I login to my Man City ticketing account?

If you are unable to download your Mobile Season Ticket through your account, please request a new link through our contact form here.

There are several reasons that you may be having issues when trying to download your Mobile Ticket. 

  • The match date has passed
  • The ticket has been cancelled or refunded
  • The ticket has been made inactive
  • The ticket has been relocated
  • The ticket has been regraded

  • Open your Apple Wallet app
  • Tap on "View Expired Passes"  (you might need to scroll down if you have lots of passes in your wallet)
  • Select your Season Ticket, and then select 'Unhide'
  • Go back to the main Apple Wallet screen

No, a screenshot of your mobile ticket will not permit you entry to the stadium on a matchday. You can download your mobile ticket from the link in your email or directly from your online account.

Your mobile device does not require Wi-Fi connectivity or signal on matchday as long as your Mobile Season Ticket is already in your Apple Wallet/Google Wallet app prior to attending. If you’ve not already downloaded your ticket and you have issues with your data connection, you can join our free wifi by selecting Man City Wifi and clicking join, no registration needed.

To delete a pass from your Apple or Google Wallet, open your wallet and select your Season Ticket.

After opening your Season Ticket, select the 3 dots in the top righthand corner and select remove pass for Apple Wallet or remove for Google Wallet.

Your season ticket pass should always update to the next fixture, automatically. However, this will only work if you have updates enabled in your Apple or Google Wallet.

Apple Wallet: For iPhone users, go to your Apple Wallet and then click into your Seasonal Pass. In the top right corner, there will be a circle with three dots, click this and on the next page make sure ‘Automatic Updates’ is turned on, once you have done this, if you drag the screen down to manually update your pass on this occasion, the correct game should be displayed.

Google Wallet: In Google Wallet, click the 3 lines in the top left corner, then go to Settings. From here, you can turn on ‘Updates about your passes’. An alternative method to manually update your Mobile Season Ticket is to restart your Android Device and this should update your Mobile Season Ticket.
