Manchester City is delighted to welcome supporters to the Etihad Stadium for the Club’s home Premier League match against newcastle united on sunday 8th may 2022, kick-off 4.30pm.

COVID-19 Entry Requirements

Following the easing of Government’s COVID-19 Plan B restrictions, supporters are no longer required to show evidence of their COVID status to enter the Etihad Stadium.

We are encouraging everyone to play their part in limiting the spread of the virus, and below are some simple suggestions to help to keep each other safe on a matchday:

  • Be responsible and do not travel if you have COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell.
  • Get fully vaccinated if you are not already.
  • Wear face coverings in indoor and crowded areas, including public transport.
  • Continue to regularly wash your hands and use hand sanitiser.
  • Regardless of your vaccination status, we recommend you take a COVID-19 lateral flow test 12-24 hours before kick-off and register your result online. To order a test kit, follow this link.

To help keep everyone safe on matchday, we will be implementing a range of health and hygiene measures. This includes the deployment of hand sanitiser stations at various locations within the stadium, the use of one-way systems in washrooms and an enhanced cleaning operation in place throughout matchday. We will also be asking all our staff to wear a face covering for the duration of matchday as a further precautionary measure.

Car parking for this fixture is sold out.

The overall number of parking spaces available at the Etihad Stadium has been reduced by 30% for the 2021/22 season. This is due to the introduction of the NHS’ COVID-19 testing and vaccination centres and the initial ground works connected to the development of the CO-OP Live Arena. On the day sales will no longer be available and you can only pre-book your car parking in advance.

As a vehicle passes an Auto Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) camera, its registration number is read and instantly checked against the Club’s database of pre-booked parking which allows supporters to drive straight into the car park.

Car parking spaces can be booked on a match-by-match basis at tickets.mancity.com

The pricing for the 2021/22 season will be £8 for two (2) or more passengers (car share) and £10 for single occupancy.

At the point of booking your parking space, you will be asked to insert your Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) which will be used with our Auto Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras upon arrival at the car park. It is essential that you write your VRN correctly on the booking form, to avoid any delays to entry. Please also bring your booking confirmation email with you.
