Thanks!

Well that is it!

Time for bed I think. Another amazing game, another fantastic win and a great start to the weekend!

Thank you for hanging out, Blues, it's been a fabulous evening, take care.

Jeglertz reaction 🗣️

We created a lot of scoring chances and I‘m pleased with that. Players coming in second half and the impact they had.

Hemp’s performance was amazing, she’s such a fantastic player, and plays on a different level at the moment. Of course the win and mentality of the group and being able to, even though the game was tight, there’s no stress, the players are calm, communicating in a good way. They never look like we’re in a rush and I’m pleased with that.

Next at the Joie

We have a little bit of a wait until we return to home soil.

And it will be in the Champions League when we welcome Real Madrid to the Joie Stadium on Thursday 1 October, with kick-off set for 20:00 (UK).

Tickets are still available which you can via this link.

Wamser on her first start at the Joie 🗣️

“It’s been really nice (since joining the club) and the first start for me here in a really tough game.

“We had a great team performance, and we won the game, but now we have a game in three days, so we need to recover fast and be ready for that game.”

Linking up well already

Wamser spoke after the game on linking up with new team-mate Hemp.

"I enjoy just giving her the ball so she can score or assist because she is one of the best players in the world and she is playing great."

WHAT IT MEANS!

21:32

Goals galore

That's 11 goals in three games for City which means we are certainly getting our money's worth.

Four goals conceded isn't anything to raise alarm bells but I'm sure Jeglertz will be eager to try and register a clean sheet in the weeks to come.

Super sub

Fujino certainly helped inject a bit more life into the match.
