JEGLERTZ REACTION 🗣️

On the hard-fought win over Birmingham...

"The first half was good, we created a lot of scoring chances and had good patience on the ball. The second half becomes a little back and forward, they feel they have a possibility and press us a little bit higher. We lose the ball when we try to play over and we don't manage that really good, but on the other hand I don't think they had any scoring chances in the whole game, so we are pleased with the result. We can do the second half better, but in general and most importantly it was to come here and win and head into the semi-finals."

On the defensive performances...

"I think it's not that they create chances based on us losing the ball a couple of times. I also think that it was not that they played through us and they won the ball high when we were overcommitting a couple of times and chose the one solutions. They didn't create that many chances."

On Iman Beney's performance...

"We have a fantastic squad and so many good and great players. I have strong belief in all of them, but not all of them can play and this was a great opportunity to show my trust in Iman, Leila and Coombs. And there are still a couple of players who are definitely deserving of more playing time. But that's how it is and they did well today and I'm not surprised by that. I knew they were going to do a good game and give us the effort and performance we needed.

On the final stage of the season...

"It's going to be an exciting last month. When the players are coming back, definitely, I'm already looking forward to that."

ALEX GREENWOOD TO TNT SPORTS 🗣️

On progressing into the FA Cup semi-final...

"We got the job done in the end and that was the most important thing. Credit to Birmingham, they made it really difficult for us today, they posed a number of threats to us. I wouldn't say we were at our best today, but that's the FA Cup and that's the challenge of this competition, but we're through to the semi-finals."

On captaining a winning City group...

"I love being part of this Club. It's a joy right now and great to be captain of this Club, but I don't get ahead of myself. We've been close in the past and we haven't made it through so this time I'm really focused on each game. Now we go to an international break which is exciting, but we look after ourselves and go again after that."

On facing Chelsea in the semi-finals...

"If you want to get to a final, you've got to play the best teams. Chelsea are definitely one of those. A little while until then so we'll go away on international break, regroup and go again."

FULL-TIME: BIRMINGHAM 0-1 CITY

A hard-fought victory sees City through to the FA Cup semi-finals.

Well played, Blues 👏

90'+5'

CITY CORNER

Hemp does well to win a corner by the touchline and City elect to swing it into the area before it breaks to Greenwood who sends her volley over the bar.

90'+3'

OFFSIDE

The ball is played into the path of McKenna who collects the ball ahead of Rose, but the assistant raises the flag for offside. That was a tight call which goes City's way.

90'+2'

CONFIRMATION

There will be SEVEN minutes added at the end of the second half.

90'+1'

AWAY

Knaak has some defending to do and she shields the ball before teeing back to Keating who smashes out for a throw in.
