That's all, folks

Thank you as always for your company tonight!

It was a tough one to swallow but as our Head Coach has said, there are so many positives to take from the performance.

All eyes are on London City Lionesses on Sunday now, so we look forward to having you with us again from 10:30!

Jeglertz on positive reaction

I'm 100% sure about that.

The frustration isn't the right word, disappointment we didn't manage it.

But there's no frustration, it's more a feeling of okay we do the same performance but are just a bit sharper in both boxes, then the possibility to get a result in ten days will be big.

Jeglertz on reaction

You can lose in different ways, and it's more like an empty feeling that we did everything we could and unfortunately it wasn't enough.

We put all our effort in and I'm proud of that, that we really tried. Unfortunately they scored and we didn't, but if the performance were bad and you felt wow there were things to do, it's much harder.

But now when you sit here being disappointed to lose but wow how far have we come this season, what a confident team we have of how we play and create, winning duels and so on, that's the part you bring even if there is a loss.

Jeglertz on performance

It's more a positive for us.

The players feel 'can we create this many chances in a top game against a top competitor', so if you can create that many chances, it gives great confidence.

If you don't get the result, you can then live with that.

Jeglertz on result

I think we definitely deserved more than a one-goal loss.

Of course we're here to compete for titles, we can't win this one now which is a big disappointment but I think tomorrow when we take one step back and look at the game there'll be lots we can be proud of.

How many chances we had, how good we pressed, a lot of things we can bring with us from this game that we can hopefully use to win at the Etihad.

We'll hear from the boss very shortly

Praise from Bompastor

Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor has been very respectful of City in her post-match press conference.

She's said the game was defined by 'fine margins' and Chelsea simply took their chances better than we did.

She's expecting a tough test at the Etihad next week.

How good was Yui Hasegawa tonight!

Tough one to take, but we'll regroup
