On the goal
It feels amazing. It takes the pressure off a little bit now, now I can get flowing into the season. The main thing for me was getting onto the pitch, making those connections with the girls and getting stuck in. It was nice.
On scoring against Spurs
I loved my time at Spurs and I've loved seeing some familiar faces. That is where I really developed as a young player and gave me so much confidence so it was lovely to see them all.
On playing in City's system
I can see myself now and I'm already analysing what I would've done differently in the game. Passes I would've made and playing with these girls will make me so much better. Kerolin challenges me on what passes and forward passes I'm going to make but her movement is incredible. The depth of the squad is just amazing and I'm excited to start properly.
On the performance
They're a really strong side, they've started the season really well and are strong defensively and in duels. But I think we just showed our quality not just on the pitch but on the bench. It's really exciting what's to come this season.
On the performance
I think so [it was a professional performance] and we're showing different faces of the team. We can be a team that is playing fantastic football, creating and scoring chances with possession and that is a part of the DNA at the club.
We also see in the second half we're a team able to control the game without the ball and giving the opponent spaces where we think 'this is fine', but also being really lethal in transitions.
On individual performances
She was great in the game. Look at Laura Blindkilde Brown also how she is working and how she's grown during the last weeks. This is also a player I would like to raise. Don't forget the ones who are coming into the game because there is also Kerolin, Jade Rose and Grace Clinton. Coombs coming in and scoring, so that will give us something for the team. It's important, not only the ones on the field starting the game, the ones coming in are bringing energy and that will be crucial for this team this year.
On Clinton
I'm so happy for her because she has been working very good since she's been with the team and she deserved to get minutes today and how she did also. She wanted to be on the ball, she's playing with a lot of confidence so I'm happy for her.
On Lauren Hemp's injury
I don't know, we'll see how it goes in the coming days.
