That's a wrap 👋

Thank you as always for your company this afternoon!

An important win for City and a first clean sheet of the season as well - a great way to start again after the international break.

Thanks for your company, and see you next week against Everton!

Jeglertz on home form

"Yeah we want both home and away, but I think it’s good for the players to feel that this is our place, our stadium and we’re comfortable here.

"A first clean sheet was also very important for us, especially the goalkeepers and back line, but also the whole team.

"We create a lot of chances but also conceded a few too many. A clean sheet was great."

Jeglertz on Fujino

"I've said many good things about her before but I think she’s one of the most versatile players I’ve ever worked with.

"She can play wherever we put her, she even played full back when Kerstin was out.

"You can put her anywhere, she’s so intelligent she can play anywhere. And observing what she does her movement and decision making is great.

"I’m happy for her, it’s good for us to have her in our team."

Jeglertz on the performance

"Yeah, it's almost like that, get the job done. We talked before that it’d be a desperate team we play because of their league situation so we knew it’d be like that.

"We talked a lot about it but I also felt it wasn’t desperate from us in the first half. There were some situations we could’ve done better but we showed we’re not 100% in each situation.

"But we did it, with that turnover it also shows something about the team, where we were lucky leading 1-0 at HT but second half was much better."

Keeping pace

Chelsea's 2-0 win over London City Lionesses means they remain top of the WSL table, but we're still just one point behind the leaders.

United are third, four points behind us ahead of their clash with Brighton on Sunday.

Six in a row

That's six WSL wins in a row now for City - an excellent return after our opening day defeat to Chelsea.

It's the best run of form in the division over that time period as well, which shows the direction we're moving.

A big clean sheet too - our first of the season!
