"You saw pretty early in this stadium playing in front of our fans this is something special. I feel it in them. Every one is pleased with that and it’s one of the key things. 

"You always need to bring your energy, enthusiasm to play each game and if you can do that, the team has great quality to win the game. If you lack it a bit you need help but also need to bring it out from somewhere.

"I think our home should feel like some kind of castle where they feel like this is our place. There's something with this stadium, the crowd and the people around it, it’s a feeling like we can’t lose here. Of course, keeping on winning just underlines that and the players come here with the confidence that this is our place and it's tough to play against us."

"It wasn't perfect but it was a step forward from last week and we're really proud of the result.

"We had extra motivation from last week. It just wasn't up to our standards so we knew we wanted to make a statement today.

"That's what this one [Khadija Shaw] did, that's what we did. I felt like I was playing Fifa with her, like going three goals in 12 minutes. But we are just really proud of the result."

Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with London City Lionesses means City are now eight points clear at the top of the WSL with four matches remaining.

However, that gap would be reduced to five if Arsenal won their two games in hand.
