JEGLERTZ REACTION 🗣️

On the win...

"Everton are a tricky team to play against, they are defending well and they are challenging us also in the build-up. But I think in half of the first half we sorted it out in a better way and then we managed it well. Overall, it's a good performance. The players are working hard in the defending, creating scoring chances, having the patience to never lose belief. Scoring two goals, keeping a clean sheet that says everything."

On creating chances...

"Also have in mind we haven't played a game in the three weeks so it also takes some time for the timing, relationships in the final third, that is definitely the thing that we will be better from every day that is going now in the coming weeks. To create that many chances is great."

On Bournemouth in the FA Cup fixture next week...

"That's definitely a game to look forward to and I think also, for us, we have confidence now and every game you play has to be a good opportunity to show you're a good team, a good player and I think the same will be next weekend.

"Winning games is building the confidence even stronger and that is something we'd like to keep doing."

GREENWOOD ON KEROLI AND HEMP

"For me, I'm stood behind Hempo and I just admire what I see in front of me and it's the same for Kerolin. She was top today and they both are.

"How lucky are we to have two wingers like that and even more options available. We're blessed right now and those two were top today.

"I was in a bit of unknown territory wasn't I? [At the end of the game]. If I'm playing left-back I need to get forward a bit and support Hempo, I can't expect her to do it all on her own at times. It would've been nice [to score]."

MORE FROM GREENWOOD 🗣️

"I don't have any doubts because I watch the training sessions all week and the intensity, considering we had a couple of weeks off, was top.

"I knew today we'd come in confident and with high intensity because I saw it all week in training and I had no doubts we'd have chances today and we were really solid when we had to defend."

ALEX GREENWOOD REACTION 🗣️

"Tactically, Everton are really smart, they try to overload certain areas of the pitch which is sometimes difficult, but I thought we dealt with it really well today.

"The communication was really good, the tactical information we received before the game was spot on. They would always have moments when they got out, but our reaction to recover back and work hard as a team was superb today.

"Those small details are why we won."
