The boss on Miedema's knock

"Yeah, she’s fine. She’s a player who you saw in her, she wants to contribute al the time.

"The thing she had is something she had earlier, I don’t think it’s a big thing, but the mentality to keep pushing is great."

More from the boss

"There are so many things in football. There's the ability of controlling the game with the ball, which we’ve done, but there are also parts when you play an opponent who, no matter where they are in the league, are better than us.

"Their momentum in the first half, we didn’t really get out of that, but there’s something there that you learn so much from.

"We need to learn from that, unfortunately you learn more from things when you don’t have the best performance. But we also got with us that we were able to get it better and sort it out in the second half."

Jeglertz reaction

"Looking at the game, we should be saying one point is okay, but at the same time we want to win these games.

"When you talk beforehand you feel we’d like to win this but on the other hand you sometimes don’t reach the level you need and you play a good team like Aston Villa, so you should take one point and just keep moving forward."

More from Kerstin

"Villa are a team who we know are going to give us a good battle, and that's what they did today.

"This is all part of a title race, we'll take from this what we can and go into next week.

"Nothing changes, every game is a final and we take a point. We wanted three, but nothing changes for us."

14:15

Kerstin Casparij reaction

"I think it was a bit up and down. First half we struggled a bit in and out of possession, but I think second half we kept the ball and pressed them a lot better.

"Unfortunately we couldn't convert it into goals, but I think it was a good second half and that's what we need to take into next week."

Thank you as always for your tremendous support!
