A brilliant evening

Whichever way you look at it, it's been a fantastic evening for City.

A debut goal for Vivianne Miedema and a really imperious display in the heart of midfield.

A clean sheet for Ayaka Yamashita, and a solid defensive performance all round.

Yui Hasegawa bossing the midfield, with Jess Park once again the stand out.

Tireless energy and creativity up top from Lauren Hemp, Aoba Fujino and Mary Fowler.

And an impact off the bench from everyone who came on, including Chloe Kelly getting a goal.

All of that, plus a real step towards the Champions League group stages after a four year absence.
