"To be competitive in every competition and this stage of the season you need everybody. I said that to the group, we'll need to rotate at times. We need everyone i these moments and I was pleased tonight with how we sustained the performance.
"It's about belief. We're Manchester City, we should believe we can go anywhere and win and put in a performance that can hurt the opposition, whilst respecting it's going to be incredibly difficult. Our focus shifts to the league game now, we're at the Etihad and have to repeat the performance to win, then we'll focus on Chelsea knowing it's going to be a really difficult moment."
"My aim is for this team to be a threat in every moment. We're a very good possession team but we have to be aggressive defensively and be a threat defensively, we have the likes of Kerolin Nicoli, Jess Park, Viv. I think you can see in those moments that when we break quick we can hurt teams. I'm pleased we had that threat and got the second goal.
On Kerolin Nicoli: "When you have injuries to key players you can look at it one way like it's a bad thing or as an opportunity. And I said to her, the opportunity is there, she impressed me in training and as the game went on you could see the threat she can have for our team."
"They're a top team, their league position reflects that and they were unbeaten before tonight. We knew we'd have to dig in at times and knew we needed to be a threat in different moments of the game. I'm really proud of the performance.
"We're at home so we want to be a threat in every moment whether we're defending or in possession. For me it's about making sure our fans are proud of our performance and we have the belief we can go and win against anybody. You saw the Barcelona game and tonight was no different."
"To be honest I was really nervous and shaking. It's because it meant a lot to me, but when I started the game I thought 'I need to be myself' and enjoy the game, this is where I can do my thing.
"I think we have a lot of players to help us, we have to focus on recovery, watch the game back and see what we can do even better.
"But I'm really confident we can continue to play how we did. They're really hard to play against but I'm so happy."
"The second goal was so good for us because they were coming, but again we did what we were training for. I really believe in Viv when she's in then box. When Is aw her I thought I'll give her the ball, and she was the super sub for us.
"The team was just together in giving everything, this is really important because this was a hard game. Today was about details.
"I'm working really hard, because it's not easy to come in the middle of the season and fit well hut I know the team needed me. I'm just trying to be myself, enjoy the game and help the team."
"I'm really happy with the performance. I think the team played together which made the difference. We just enjoyed the game too, we tried to dictate it so I think we deserved it. Everyone gave so much energy so I think the team really deserved it.
"We have a really aggressive team and we need to keep believing. Finals, semi-finals, quarter-finals, sometimes you might make a mistake but you need to keep believing and give everything. The key for us was giving everything, because if we feel tired we have a bench to change the game like Viv did today."
