CUSHING REACTION 🗣️

"The lesson for the team is that hunger, belief and determination will take you really far. This group has had a lot of stress and strain on with the key individuals that we’ve got out, and that’s not an excuse because we ran Chelsea really close in every game and beat them in one of them, and every other time we’ve matched them. We’ve lost the game on moments today and we’ll look back on that, look at how we can start quicker, where we can make sure we don’t make individual errors but this squad has shown the heart and spirit that it’s got for Manchester City football club tonight and I’m proud of that."

OUAHABI REACTION 🗣️

"I think it's tough tonight. We had a good result from the first leg. They were better in some moments. We are a good team but they are also a good team. They were better in some moments and took the opportunity to win.

"It's very tough. It's a big dream for us. It's one of our goals to be there, to win the Champions League. We'll review the game and I'm sure we'll be better.

"We dream of the best games, of trophies. Sometimes it's hard. We have a lot of injuries, we're facing a lot of different situations that's not normal. I think we had a good team to go, to win but we didn't. Today's really tough to take."

NOT OUR NIGHT

Disappointment for sure at full-time tonight as our Champions League quest comes to an end, but an injury-hit squad can hold our heads high after a testing 12 days with a skeleton squad. Stay tuned with reaction to come.
